These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Lintdrift ("Lintdrift," "we," "us," or "our"), including our website at lintdrift.com and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Lintdrift provides automated analysis of pull requests to help teams detect architectural drift and maintain consistency in AI-assisted codebases. The Service integrates with supported Git providers and delivers feedback through your existing development workflow.

2. Account Registration

Account creation requires authentication via a supported method, including email and password or Google sign-in. You may also connect a supported Git provider (e.g., GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket) to authorize repository access for analysis. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

3. Repository Access and Code Analysis

By connecting your repositories, you grant Lintdrift permission to analyze your code for the sole purpose of providing the Service. We analyze code on-the-fly during pull request checks and do not store your source code on our servers. We may store analysis metadata and results to power dashboards and track drift over time.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service in violation of applicable law
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or data
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or other users
• Reverse engineer or resell the Service without authorization

5. Subscriptions and Billing

Paid plans are billed according to the pricing displayed on our website. You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Upon cancellation, you retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

6. Communications

We will send you essential service-related emails, such as billing receipts and security alerts. You may opt out of non-essential product update emails at any time.

7. Intellectual Property

Lintdrift retains all rights in the Service, including software, branding, and documentation. You retain all rights to your code and content. Feedback you provide may be used to improve the Service without obligation to you.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not warrant that analysis results will be error-free or that the Service will meet every requirement of your team. Automated analysis supplements, but does not replace, professional engineering judgment.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lintdrift shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the Service.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the Service or email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
